Booking conditions

These conditions apply to every booking of an activity operated by ELBAHI.NET SARL AU under the trading name Quad Marrakech. They sit alongside the description of the activity you booked, which prevails over any general description.

Booking

A booking becomes firm once we confirm it in writing, by email or on WhatsApp. The confirmation states the activity, the date, the departure time, the number of participants and the total amount.

The price shown on each activity page is per person, except for the buggy, which is sold per vehicle — the page says so under the price. Prices are expressed in euros.

Paying

The total amount is shown before you confirm the booking, and repeated on the confirmation. You can book without paying anything online and pay at our base, before the departure, in cash — dirhams or foreign currency. Or you can pay online with PayPal, as you choose: a 30% deposit, with the balance paid at the base, or the full amount. Cards are not accepted at the base.

When you pay online, you are sent to PayPal to pay. No card details are entered or stored on this site.

Cancelling or moving a booking

Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the departure time: anything you paid online is refunded to you. Inside that window, the 30% deposit is kept and anything paid on top of it is refunded; contact us all the same, and we look first for a new date.

Ask to move a booking through the same channel you booked on. An agreed change of date alters neither the price nor these conditions.

If you do not turn up at the departure without telling us, the activity is due.

Weather and safety

We may cancel or move a departure for safety reasons — weather, the state of the tracks, an incident on site. If we do, you choose between a new date and cancelling free of charge: anything you paid online is refunded to you.

A guide may refuse to let a participant set off, or stop them during the activity, if their safety or the group’s is at stake: under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for not following the briefing, or where they are plainly unable to handle the vehicle. No refund is due in that case.

Participants

Every departure begins with a safety briefing, which must be followed. A helmet is provided and must be worn on motorised activities.

Under-18s take part accompanied by a responsible adult, present on site for the whole activity. The minimum age depends on the activity and on the role — driver or passenger; it is stated on the activity page and confirmed when you book.

No driving licence is required for the quad. A driving licence is required to drive a buggy.

Insurance

Our activities are covered by third-party liability insurance. That cover does not include personal accident insurance: wider cover — bodily injury, repatriation, cancellation — is at your own expense, and we suggest you check what your travel policy already covers.

Transfer from Marrakech

The transfer from your hotel or riad is not included in the activity price. It is arranged when you book, for a fee, and requires you to give us the name and address of where you are staying.

The default meeting point is our base, in the Agafay desert, 45 minutes by road from central Marrakech.

Personal belongings

The tracks are dusty and the vehicles are open. We are not liable for the loss or damage of personal belongings carried during the activity, phones and cameras in particular.

Complaints

Send any complaint to contact@quad-marrakech.ma quoting your booking reference. We acknowledge receipt and answer in writing.
